Introduction to the Biodiversity Net Gain Metric 4.0 will introduce the Biodiversity Metric 4.0 and its context within Biodiversity Net Gain
Attendees will be given a basic introduction to how to navigate a completed Metric and its outputs.
The session will also highlight checks that are likely to be made at the planning application validation stage by local planning authorities.
Learning outcome
- Learn how to open and navigate around a completed Metric and to review its outputs
- Understand the assessment and review process of the Metric that will form part of a planning application once Biodiversity Net Gain is mandatory in November 2023
- Have an awareness of the Metric checklist to be used at planning application validation
