LI Webinar: Nordic Design – A Perfect Merging of Form and Function
At this webinar you will hear about Vestre’s uniquely Nordic approach to design and how we apply key principles to both our product design process and approach to business.
Scandinavian design is intrinsically linked to some of the finest designers of our time. Some of the world’s most iconic items of furniture were conceived by Nordic designers and are as popular today as when they were first launched.
Today, this important heritage continues, and key Nordic beliefs and rights have more to offer both our own lives and our work in the public realm (perhaps even more so in the post-Covid world).
What you will learn:
- Be inspired by the Scandinavian design heritage and its timeless aesthetic that has inspired our lasting love affair with this distinctive style;
- Discover how the principles of Scandinavian design can be directly applied to the external environment in order to create democratic and caring meeting places for all;
- Learn about the important Nordic heritage of Friluftsliv, Allemannsretten, and Hygge and how these key principles affect the approach of Scandinavian designers today.
