Summary

Watch as the Lifetime Achievement Award and LI Honorary Fellowship is presented to Sir David Attenborough, followed by his inspiring acceptance speech, where he reflects on how attitudes to protecting nature and biodiversity have changed over 50 years. From focusing on protecting single species, we now realise that it is not isolated ecosystems in danger, it is the whole world in danger. Landscape professionals have a great responsibility in  bringing an understanding of the natural world to the understanding and love of humanity worldwide.

Sir David Attenborough is a globally-renowned broadcaster and naturalist, who is best known for the natural history documentary series he has produced for the BBC, beginning with Life on Earth in 1979.
