8. Key to the City: Using Augmented Reality in the Public Realm

Atkins have recently won the City of London’s Smart Green Spaces competition and are looking to launch the ‘Key to the City’ augmented reality app in 2018. This session demonstrates the app and discusses Atkins’ design process through the competition.

Neil Manthorpe

Neil is a Principal Landscape Architect leading the London Landscape Design Studio at Atkins. His areas of expertise include green infrastructure, smart streets and cycling. He has previously worked throughout the Middle East as well as Sydney, Beijing and Colombia. Neil's team have recently won the City of London's Smart Green Spaces competition and are looking to launch the Key to the City augmented reality app in 2018.
