LI London Branch: Rainbow Places presents… Works Out

Summary

Join us to mark the close of this year’s LGBT+ History Month with an event of conversations about being out at work

Inspired by the success of recent TV show ‘It’s a Sin’ (Channel 4 /ALL4), which has shone a spotlight on being gay in the 1980s, our event brings together a four practitioners at various stages of their career.

Join us for a panel discussion about personal experience of being out at work, how things have changed for LGBT+ people at work, and how we can continue to strive for equality in the workplace.

Chairing the discussion will be actor and gay activist Adam Zane, best known for his portrayal of Dane McAteer in ‘Queer As Folk’. Joining Adam will be:

  • Dick Longdin (He / Him), Fellow of the Landscape Institute (FLI) and partner at Randall Thorp
  • Charlotte Harris (She / They), landscape and garden designer and director at Harris Bugg Studio
  • Rudhira Sambrey (She / Her), landscape architecture student at Manchester Metropolitan University
  • Oli Grice Jackson (He / Him), senior ecologist at FPCR
