Day 2.3 Green Infrastructure Design Guide

Summary

Natural England’s Green Infrastructure (GI) Design Guide will form part of the developing National Framework of Green Infrastructure Standards. This session will provide an update on the project and a discussion on how GI and design standards can be brought together.

Wei is the President of the Royal Town Planning Institute for 2021. She is a lead figure in researching, promoting, and implementing 21st Century Garden City approach worldwide. She has extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams. Her professional strengths lie in combining innovative planning inspirations with feasible implementation solutions.

Clare Warburton, Natural England. Clare Warburton is Principal Adviser for Green Infrastructure in Natural England. She has over 20 years’ experience in the environment sector, both public and private, with a particular focus on embedding green infrastructure in development through strategic planning and good design.

 

Speaker: Dawn Griffiths, Senior Adviser - Green Infrastructure, Natural England



Dawn Griffiths is a senior adviser on green infrastructure at Natural England within the Green Infrastructure Standards project team. She has a PGDip in Architecture, Energy and Environment from the Centre of Alternative Technology, UEL and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science.
