LI CPD: Health, Wellbeing and Place
27 Jan 2021
Day 1. 3c Transforming places, transforming Lives
As supporting evidence, Alan will unpack the Trust’s innovative ‘Health for Life’ project, run in partnership with the Countess of Chester Hospital, and dissect the impact of the Green Angels volunteer training programme, amongst other health initiatives led by the national land management charity.
Alan Carter is Director of Portfolio Management for the Land Trust, a charity that provides a cost effective management solution for open space and green infrastructure. Alan is responsible for the Land Trust's estates portfolio, ensuring that its sites are managed safely and efficiently, but most importantly delivers measurable and sustainable impacts across all its five charitable aims for the local communities who live and work around the sites. As part of this, Alan is working on a number of significant national partnership programmes with our members and stakeholders and is responsible for our communication, marketing and ensuring that our fundraising projects deliver increased charitable outcomes and that we understand the social value which is delivered.
